Job summary

MGM Resorts International, at The Mansion at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, seeks a Special Events & Services Manager to lead planning and execution of diverse events including casino marketing, sponsorship activations, and corporate functions. You will support Villa Services and Butler teams during slow periods, delivering elevated service and memorable experiences for guests.

You will coordinate meetings, manage budgets, liaise with stakeholders, and ensure compliance and flawless on-site execution

Qualifications

• 2 years of prior relevant events experience
• Leadership experience in a luxury resort environment preferred
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual highly preferred
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays

Responsibilities

• Serve as an open-minded, solution-driven project manager through all stages of event planning, including planning, execution, and reconciliation
• Organize production meetings and schedules to coordinate and track invitations, décor, audiovisual needs, convention setup, staffing, safety and gaming compliance, setup and strike
• Provide on-site management of events, ensuring timing, execution and challenges meet high MGM Resorts standards
• Serve as liaison and account manager for management, staff, vendors, guests and departments on all relevant matters
• Provide financial oversight and daily budget management for assigned events
• Identify creative solutions and project management needs for internal and external clients
