Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a Meeting Concierge to elevate guest experiences by coordinating meetings, inspecting spaces, and ensuring flawless event execution. You will liaise with Convention Service Managers, Sales Managers, and Catering Managers to confirm details and service levels.

The ideal candidate has two years of hospitality or events experience, outstanding customer service, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Two years of hospitality, convention services, event planning, or front desk experience.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Schedule meetings with Convention Service Managers, Sales Managers and Catering Managers to review details for upcoming groups.
• Physically inspect all meeting rooms and ensure correct setup per MEeting Event Order or Banquet Event Order.
• Assist in supervising banquet setup, A/V, IT and other staff for clients' meetings.
• Walk convention/meeting rooms pre- and post-show to check for damage.
• Monitor breaks and ensure services are provided on time per planners’ expectations.
• Attend all Pre-Convention meetings to understand the role in client events.
• Assist the Convention Services Manager for in-house groups while planning future groups.
