Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking an Event Planning Manager to service Sales and Event Sales bookings. The role acts as a liaison between the client and hotel staff to ensure flawless event execution from planning through post-event billing.

Responsibilities include detailing F&B and A/V needs, hosting tastings, managing room blocks, and post-event follow up. Candidates should have 2+ years in hotel event sales and excel in communication and organization.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others. Refined verbal and written communication skills
• A minimum of 2 years of hotel event sales/event planning preferably in the luxury social market
• Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
• Candidates should be extremely detail oriented, organized and be able to handle a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
• Must be able to collaborate with internal and external clients to ensure detailed information is clearly understood and communicated properly
• Balance management of on-site events and upcoming events simultaneously
• Willingness to work late nights, evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• The Event Planning Manager's responsibilities include but are not limited to : administering the Sales agreement, detailing all Food, Beverage and A/V needs, hosting sites and tastings, managing room blocks and pick up, ensuring a smooth execution of the event as well as post event follow up and final billing review.
