Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation in Morristown, NJ is seeking an Event Planning Manager to service Sales bookings and act as the liaison between Meeting Planners and hotel staff. You will administer the Sales agreement, detail Food, Beverage and A/V needs, manage room blocks and billing instructions, and ensure smooth on-site event execution.

The role requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel event sales/event planning or comparable experience preferred
• Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
• Candidates should be extremely detail oriented, organized and be able to handle a fast paced environment
• Prefer two years hotel experience or completed Event Management trainee program
• Prefer candidate has completed PSS or equivalent training

Responsibilities

• Service Sale bookings as liaison between Meeting Planners and hotel staff
• Administer the Sales agreement and detail Food, Beverage and A/V needs
• Manage room blocks and pick up, billing instructions and final review
• Act as on-site contact to ensure smooth execution of all events
