Job summary

Grand Hyatt at SFO seeks a polished Event Planning Manager to join our Events team. This role plans, coordinates and executes meetings, conferences, weddings, and corporate functions with an emphasis on exceptional client experiences.

Collaborate across departments to optimize group guestrooms, revenue, and service standards while delivering seamless, memorable events. Luxury hospitality experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in hotel event planning, catering, or conference services.
• Experience managing corporate meetings, weddings or complex events.
• Detail-oriented, organized, able to handle fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of events from turnover through completion, serving as primary client contact.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients and event planners.
• Oversee group room blocks, timelines, and guestroom arrangements to maximize revenue.
• Collaborate with Banquets, Culinary, Front Office, Housekeeping and other teams for flawless events.
• Proactively address challenges and ensure excellence in guest experiences.
