Viceroy Hotels Washington DC and Hotel Zena is seeking an Area Conference Services Manager to oversee groups and events from turnover to execution. You will maximize revenue while delivering exceptional service, coordinating with operations, and ensuring contractual obligations are met.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, plus experience with catering and banquet planning in a luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent presentation, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan all group and event turnovers, review contracts with sales manager, and contact clients.
• Manage group room blocks and reservations, including billing and changes.
• Forecast banquet and catering revenues monthly for definite groups.
• Prepare Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and conference resumes with accurate details.
• Coordinate vendor deliveries and ensure high quality service during events.
• Assist sales managers during site inspections and help close business.
• Upsell by increasing average check per meal period.
