Job summary

Park Hyatt Washington seeks an experienced Event Planning Manager to lead planning and execution of group events with a focus on exceptional client experiences. You will coordinate details, manage contracts, and collaborate across Sales, Operations, Culinary and other teams to deliver flawless events.

The role requires proactive, solutions-oriented leadership in a luxury hospitality environment, with a track record of building strong client relationships and achieving revenue goals.

Qualifications

• Previous event planning or event coordination experience, luxury setting preferred.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, organizational and computer skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan meetings, events, and group functions.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients throughout the event planning process.
• Administer sales agreements, detailing food & beverage, audiovisual, and event requirements.
• Work closely with Sales, Operations, Culinary and other departments to ensure successful event execution.
• Monitor events and address client needs or concerns.
