Job summary

The Grand Hotel on Alabama's Gulf Coast seeks an experienced Event Banquet Concierge to deliver outstanding guest service and coordinate high‑quality events. You will collaborate across departments with the Director of Event Operations and Event Managers to ensure flawless execution and guest satisfaction.

Maintain proactive communication with event hosts and guests, handle last‑minute changes, and assist with setup and on‑site logistics while upholding regulatory standards and hotel policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or guest services preferred.
• Ability to coordinate multiple moving parts for events.
• Strong communication with guests, hosts, and staff.
• Proactive problem solving and issue resolution during events.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service and address guest needs promptly.
• Coordinate events with hosts, managers, and departments, including last‑minute changes.
• Promote knowledge of hotel facilities and services to guests.
• Assist with last‑minute event changes and communicate updates to management and guests.
• Support with event setup, signage, registration, and on-site logistics.
• Solicit guest feedback to improve service and guest satisfaction.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and company policies for alcohol service and gratuity reporting.
