Job summary

Rosewood Residences Lido Key in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Captain/Lead Server to lead dining room service with gracious hospitality and operational excellence. You will mentor teammates, oversee service rhythm, and partner with culinary and beverage teams to deliver memorable experiences reflecting Rosewood's anticipatory service philosophy.

Qualifications

Significant experience in luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, private clubs, or refined hospitality environments.
Advanced knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, Champagne, and luxury dining etiquette.
Leadership experience, formal service training, wine certifications, or luxury hospitality experience are highly valued.

Responsibilities

Lead dining room service by setting the example for Rosewood standards of hospitality and attention to detail.
Deliver anticipatory dining service while recognizing resident preferences and building relationships.
Guide residents through food, wine, cocktails, and beverage selections with confidence.
Coordinate service flow between culinary, bar, and dining room teams for seamless execution.
Mentor and support fellow associates, training new staff and upholding service standards.
