Job summary

Maiden Home in New York City is seeking a Senior Design Advisor at the NYC Flagship. You will build relationships within residential and trade communities and deliver an exceptional in-store experience as a trusted guide from first consultation to post-sale follow-up.

You will lead revenue-driving events, manage full client lifecycle, and stay fluent in product knowledge while collaborating with Client Services and Operations to ensure a seamless experience. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in luxury furnishings, interior design, or similar A&D client facing role.
• Strong existing network of trade and interior designers.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and approach to building a book of business.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an intuitive, hospitality‑driven approach to service.
• Confident communicator with strong organization and follow‑up habits.
• Passion for design, furniture, materials, and the luxury home space.
• Self‑motivated, solutions‑oriented, and excited by a growing, fast‑paced brand.
• Comfortable using CRM systems and managing detailed order workflows.
• Ability to work a full‑time schedule, including weekends.
• Physically able to be on the floor for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed significant individual sales targets and showroom goals.
• Plan and execute activations and events to drive revenue and brand awareness.
• Manage the full client lifecycle from first touch through post-sale follow-up.
• Develop relationships with residential and trade clients.
• Deliver elevated, tailored experiences to walk-in and appointment clients.
• Serve as product and brand expert guiding clients to fit their design and budget needs.
• Stay fluent in product knowledge and care recommendations.
• Collaborate with Client Services and Operations for seamless orders.
• Maintain showroom standards and an inspiring environment.
• Adapt to a fast-paced, client-first retail environment.
