Job summary

The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs is seeking a Conference Services Concierge to support the Conference Manager and Catering Sales Manager, coordinating all aspects of on-site meetings, weddings, and conferences to meet luxury Broadmoor standards.

You will act as the primary contact for meeting planners, manage BEOs, signage, and daily reports, and work with AV, maintenance, and banquets to handle last-minute requests. This role requires hospitality experience and flexibility for weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from a two-year college/technical school.
• Hospitality or event planner experience preferred; equivalent education/background will be considered.
• Valid driver’s license required; role may involve transporting equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for documentation and email, property management, spreadsheets, and databases; AS400, DELPHI, and Social Tables.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work for self and event managers; read and create a BEO.
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate high integrity in a fast-paced environment.
• A highly motivated team player who drives results through collaboration.
• Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. with proper safety practices.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Inspect meeting rooms and event spaces; verify setups match client requirements and room availability.
• Act as primary contact between meeting planners and hotel departments via phone, email, and in person.
• Create door cards, event signage, reader boards, and daily shift reports.
• Attend daily operations and pre-conference/BEO meetings.
• Receive, store, and distribute conference packages, materials, and planner supplies.
• Coordinate with AV, maintenance, convention services, and banquets for last-minute requests.
• Build and maintain relationships with client contacts to ensure excellent communication and service.
• Ensure compliance with Broadmoor guidelines, safety policies, and Forbes/AAA standards.
• Learn The Broadmoor’s history, estate, and offerings.
• Execute additional duties as required.
