Job summary

Dover Street Market Los Angeles is seeking a Concierge Associate to be the operational backbone of the store. You will support BOH tasks, coordinate deliveries, and ensure exceptional customer service across sales and VIP teams.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in luxury retail or customer service, strong communication, and a proactive, collaborative attitude. The role requires a flexible schedule with weekend and holiday coverage.

Qualifications

Retail and/or customer service experience with a luxury setting is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Collaborative spirit and proactive attitude.
Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

Process all mail orders and approvals and keep relevant teams informed.
Log all incoming deliveries and notify recipients.
Control costs of couriers, shipping, alterations, and dry cleaning.
Maintain communication with sales staff and VIP department to support sales.
Answer all incoming calls and take messages; handle customer inquiries by phone.
Ensure Dover Street Market customer service is exemplary.
Handle daily email inquiries with urgency.
Update events calendar with product launches and merchandise drops and keep the team informed.
Assist Concierge Supervisor with stationery orders.
