Job summary

Boar's Head Resort in Charlottesville, VA seeks a friendly Front Desk Specialist to deliver personalized and luxury service. You will assist guests with information on local dining and attractions, coordinate transportation, and handle check-in/check-out with professionalism.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in Hospitality or related service industries.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Ability to work weekends and extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with check-in and check-out and handle front desk duties.
• Provide guests with information about local attractions, dining, and events.
• Coordinate transportation and shuttle needs for UVA events as applicable.
• Handle VIP and repeat guest programs and special requests promptly.
• Sell gift certificates and offer upgrades to maximize revenue.
• Maintain lobby and brochure rack aesthetics and ensure timely follow-up to guest requests.
