Job summary

Boar’s Head Resort in Charlottesville, Virginia, seeks a supervisory professional to oversee the Front Desk, tennis courts and grounds, ensuring Forbes Travel Guide, AAA 4 Diamond Service, Forbes Four Star, LVX, and Boar’s Head CORE standards.

You will lead the Operations Coordinators, train staff, manage scheduling, respond to guests, assist with large-scale events, and maintain CPR certification to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising guest services or front desk operations.
• Proven ability to train and mentor staff.
• Strong communication and guest-relations skills.
• Familiarity with club operations and event support.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Front Desk, tennis courts, and grounds operations to ensure standards.
• Supervise Operations Coordinators (Front Desk) and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Respond to guest inquiries and provide timely information and services.
• Assist with scheduling and coverage for Front Desk/Member Service Agents.
• Assist with large events and tournaments, including UVA matches.
• Maintain CPR certification and implement emergency procedures.
• Cross-train in Front Desk, Housekeeping and Court Maintenance.
• Monitor member/guest activity and manage Pro Shop inventory.
• Hold team accountable to Forbes Four Star LVX Boar’s Head CORE standards.
