Job summary

Bluejack National is seeking a Host to warmly greet members and guests, manage reservations, and coordinate seating across dining areas. You will support staff and ensure a smooth, high-quality guest experience in a luxury club setting.

Applicants should have hospitality experience, strong communication skills, and a professional appearance. The role involves flexible hours including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior serving experience in high-end golf/country club or hospitality is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Service-oriented with professional presentation.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner upon arrival.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating to ensure efficient table flow and guest experience.
• Escort guests to tables and provide menus while relaying information to service staff.
• Coordinate seating across dining rooms, patios, lounges, and events.
• Monitor dining room activity to anticipate seating needs and maintain smooth service flow.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entrance, and waiting areas.
• Answer calls, take reservations, and respond to guest inquiries accurately.
• Communicate guest preferences and notes to Servers and management.
• Assist with records of reservations, guest counts, and table availability.
• Support setup of dining areas and events; assist service staff as needed.
• Follow club policies, sanitation standards, and safety guidelines.
