Job summary

CD Peacock, The Premier Jeweler of Chicago, seeks a Client Experience Ambassador for its Oak Brook luxury retail environment. This hospitality role greets clients, coordinates arrivals, and ensures a seamless, comfortable visit aligned with CD Peacock's standards.

You will manage guest flow, assist with appointments, and coordinate with Sales Professionals and teams to deliver exceptional service. Weekend/evening availability and high-touch client care are expected.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality, luxury retail, concierge, reception or high-touch client service experience preferred.
• Warm, polished presence with exceptional verbal communication and active-listening skills.
• Ability to anticipate needs while remaining discreet and composed.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and acknowledge every client and guest upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Recognize returning clients and provide a personalized welcome while respecting privacy.
• Manage client flow, confirm appointments, and facilitate introductions to the appropriate team member.
• Communicate wait times and assist waiting clients with updates and alternatives.
• Offer refreshments, seating, coat assistance, directions, and hospitality touches to enhance comfort.
• Answer calls professionally, provide general store information, and connect callers to the right team member.
• Maintain awareness of activity and communicate client-flow concerns to leaders and teams.
• Keep reception and hospitality areas organized, stocked, and presentation-ready.
• Support appointments, private client experiences, and store events with guest-list prep and setup/breakdown.
• Capture or confirm basic client and appointment information in designated systems with discretion.
• Respond calmly to immediate client needs or concerns and involve managers when needed.
• Assist with front-of-house opening/closing and coordinate with security, facilities, and leadership for a safe environment.
