Job summary

CD Peacock is seeking a Client Services Representative to guide clients through the full repair journey at the Oak Brook repair desk. You will intake, document, estimate, update on status, and coordinate with jewelers, sales professionals, and service partners to ensure a seamless experience.

The role requires strong client communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple repairs while upholding security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of client service experience in luxury retail preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; discretion and clarity.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple repairs and deadlines.
• Experience with jewelry or watch repairs is a plus.
• Proficient with POS, repair-tracking, CRM, and email systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients to the repair desk, listen to their needs, and explain the repair or service process clearly.
• Complete accurate repair intake with item details, condition, requested work, client contact, and service history.
• Photograph, tag, package, and securely route client merchandise per security procedures.
• Create and maintain repair records: estimates, authorizations, deposits, dates, notes, vendor details, and communications.
• Communicate estimates, costs, timelines, scope changes, and required approvals without unconfirmed commitments.
• Provide proactive updates throughout the repair process, including delays and revised estimates.
• Coordinate with jewelers, watchmakers, sales staff, managers, and partners to move repairs forward.
• Monitor open repairs, due dates, overdue work, and escalate issues affecting quality or cost.
