Job summary

Coach is a global fashion house founded in New York in 1941 and part of the Tapestry family. The Lead Cashier role focuses on delivering exceptional service at checkout, greeting customers warmly, and acting as a brand ambassador for the Insider Program to drive add-on sales and gift cards.

In a fast-paced luxury retail setting, you’ll maintain cash handling accuracy, support training of fellow cashiers, and uphold Coach Service standards across the store.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in cashier or retail roles; luxury retail experience preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems, mobile technology, and basic computer skills.
• Strong English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service at checkout; greet customers warmly and create a lasting impression.
• Act as an ambassador for the Insider Program; promote add-on sales and gift cards.
• Maintain accuracy in cash handling, media management, and compliance with all policies.
• Process returns, repairs, and damaged goods per company standards; complete end-of-shift audits with management.
• Keep cashwrap organized and clean; monitor equipment and report issues promptly.
• Assist in training and mentoring cashiers to uphold service and operational excellence.
