Job summary

Swickard Auto Group seeks a proven Sales Manager to lead the Land Rover Thousand Oaks showroom floor in Ventura County. You will coach the desk team, drive structured desking sessions, and maintain guest experiences from first contact to delivery.

With 2+ years in luxury auto leadership, you balance process discipline with hospitality, optimize CRM follow-up, and partner with finance to deliver seamless deals while growing a high-performing team.

Qualifications

2+ years of Sales Manager or senior desk manager experience at a franchised dealership.
Luxury brand sales management experience strongly preferred at Land Rover/JLR brands.
High Hospitality Quotient and guest-centric approach.
Confident at the desk with quick, accurate deal structuring and guest relationship focus.
Strong CRM discipline and follow-up culture on the floor.
Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the sales team daily with coaching and desking sessions.
Desk deals with precision and integrity for guest and store benefit.
Manage floor coverage and guest experience from first contact through delivery.
Monitor units, gross per vehicle, close rate, lead response time, and CRM compliance.
Partner with finance for clean deal handoffs and guest experience.
Support inventory management with GSM for turn and aging.
Assist in recruiting and onboarding new sales consultants.
Resolve escalated guest concerns with a solution-first approach.
