Job summary

Christian Dior Couture in New York is seeking an Operations Associate to maintain store inventory and stock areas in line with company standards. You will minimize stock loss, maintain organized records, order supplies, and safeguard assets by following proper inventory control procedures.

The role includes processing shipping/receiving, ticketing and sensoring merchandise, and supporting inventory counts and floor merchandising. Flexibility for varied hours, including weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to read, count, and write documentation accurately.
• Experience with inventory or receiving operations in retail preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all shipping and receiving functions affecting store inventory are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain an orderly stock and receiving area and ensure merchandise is properly ticketed and sensored.
• Process inbound freight, RTVs, chargebacks, transfers and damages per Company policies.
• Support compliance with receiving practices and safeguarding company assets.
• Stock is securely tagged to prevent loss; communicate with central distribution or inventory control.
• Participate in all inventory and cycle counts and assist in floor moves and merchandising.
• Assist with price changes and packing/wrapping customer merchandise as needed.
• Contribute to problem solving and efficiency improvements in the receiving area.
• Adhere to all company policies and participate in store meetings and training.
