Job summary

The Langham, Boston, part of Langham Hospitality Group, seeks a Bell Attendant to deliver luxury guest service, handle luggage, and support team operations. You will assist guests with bags, deliver amenities, and promote hotel facilities in a fast-paced, five-star environment.

Ideal candidates have experience in luxury service, are able to lift up to 100 lbs, and can work varied shifts including weekends and nights. CPR certification is a plus and US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering five-star service.
• Experience working with international colleagues.
• Ability to lift/move packages up to 100 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to stand and/or sit and maintain essential job functions.
• CPR certification is a plus.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Follow luxury service standards with every guest interaction.
• Retrieve guest items from cars and transport luggage using a bell cart.
• Store and retrieve luggage using standard operating procedures.
• Keep the Bell Closet organized and clean.
• Deliver packages and requested amenities to guests.
• Promote hotel facilities and services to guests.
• Communicate guest inquiries to supervisors and other departments.
• Participate in a daily audit to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Complete paperwork neatly and timely (e.g., porterage slips).
• Report suspicious behavior or guests to security.
• Navigate bell cart through public areas and hotel corridors.
• Be available for varied shifts including weekends and nights.
• Familiarize with daily events and VIPs at start of shift.
• Assist guests with directions to restaurants and facilities.
• Respond to guest inquiries with courtesy and accuracy.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.
