Job summary

Tempur Sealy in Huntington Station, NY is seeking a Tempur-Pedic Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and drive product sales while representing the Tempur Sealy brand. This role also supports store management when the Store Manager is unavailable, including opening/closing and covering management duties.

The position requires 1-3 years of luxury retail experience, strong consultative selling skills, and the ability to lead and train others while upholding merchandising

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years' retail experience with high-end luxury and/or custom products.
• Strong sales skills in a consultative environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, direct, and train others in a store setting.
• Skilled at current best practice retail methods, procedures, and standards.
• Demonstrated collaborator able to both lead and follow.
• Flexibility in work schedule reflecting store hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and maintaining responsibility for the overall performance of the store.
• Provide leadership in all areas of the sales process, including customer service, appearance, policy adherence, and brand.
• Continue to perform all the Retail Sales Associate responsibilities at an exceptional level.
• Assist the Store Manager in identifying deficiencies and solving problems in the store and sales team.
• Assist the store manager with merchandising and implementing company programs.
• Solve problems within the sales team and direct larger issues to the Store Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
