Job summary

Hotel Phoenix in Atlanta is seeking a dynamic Banquet Manager to lead and deliver luxury banquet and event experiences in a high-volume setting. You will supervise Banquet Captains, servers, bartenders and housepersons, ensure BEOs compliance, manage staffing and labor costs, and partner with HR and F&B leadership.

This role requires 3–5 years in banquet or F&B leadership, experience with Delphi and POS systems, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of banquet or food & beverage leadership experience in an upscale or luxury hotel environment.
• Strong understanding of banquet operations, event execution, and service standards.
• Experience with hotel systems such as Delphi, POS systems, and labor management tools preferred.
• Proven leadership capability with strong interpersonal and team development skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all banquet operations for events.
• Ensure events comply with BEOs and brand standards.
• Conduct daily pre-shift and pre-function meetings.
• Oversee room setup, service flow, and breakdown.
• Manage staff scheduling and labor costs.
• Act as on-site host and client liaison.
• Review payroll and timekeeping in systems.
• Assist with forecasting and banquet revenue planning.
