Firmdale Hotels is inviting applications for a Back Server at The Warren Street Hotel in New York. The role is full-time, non-exempt, reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, with a focus on delivering exceptional dining experiences in a luxury setting.

The Back Server will excel at understanding guest needs, maintain impeccable hygiene, and coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely service while adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Busser or Expeditor in an upscale restaurant function.
• Excellent level of written and spoken English.
• Highly organized.
• Must be open to working AM/PM shifts, week days, weekends and holidays.
• Have a full understanding of New York City Health Department standards and regulations.
• Be able to take personal responsibility for punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standard of personal hygiene and appearance at all times.
• Ensure high level of communication between the restaurant and kitchen.
• Have a strong knowledge of the food and beverages offered.
• Deliver food and drinks to guests in an efficient and professional manner.
• Able to make coffees and teas according to company standards.
• Have a keen sense of attention to detail making sure tables are served and bussed properly.
• Ensures all allergy procedures are followed at all times.
• Promote other Firmdale Hotels and restaurants.
