Firmdale Hotels invites you to join our Warren Street Hotel team as a Back Server, delivering exceptional service in a luxury setting. You will be part of a cohesive F&B team that prides itself on attentiveness, accuracy, and warm hospitality to a diverse clientele in New York.

Responsibilities include expediting service, communicating with the kitchen, knowledge of menu items, allergy procedures, and promoting other Firmdale Hotels.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Busser or Expeditor in an upscale restaurant function.
• Excellent level of written and spoken English.
• Highly organized.
• Must be open to working AM/PM shifts, week days, weekends and holidays.
• Have a full understanding of New York City Health Department standards and regulations.
• Be able to take personal responsibility for punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standard of personal hygiene and appearance at all times.
• Ensure high level of communication between the restaurant and kitchen.
• Have a strong knowledge of the food and beverages offered.
• Deliver food and drinks to guests in an efficient and professional manner.
• Able to make coffees and teas according to company standards.
• Have a keen sense of attention to detail making sure tables are served and bussed properly.
• Ensures all allergy procedures are followed at all times.
• Promote other Firmdale Hotels and restaurants.
