Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of Rochester is seeking a detail-oriented Warranty Clerk to manage the administrative processing of all manufacturer and third-party warranty claims. You will serve as the link between technicians and manufacturers, ensuring accurate coding, prompt submissions, and maximized reimbursements in line with factory guidelines.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of warranty clerk experience, preferably with Mercedes-Benz or luxury brands, and strong organizational and communication

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as a warranty clerk or administrator.
• Mercedes-Benz or luxury brand experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review Mercedes-Benz repair orders for documentation and warranty eligibility.
• Code and submit claims via the manufacturer portal in a timely manner.
• Track outstanding claims and reconcile warranty receivables.
• Coordinate with the parts department for tagged components for factory audits.
• Stay updated on recalls, TSBs, and warranty policy changes.

Job Summary:
As a Mercedes-Benz Warranty Clerk, you will manage the administrative processing of all manufacturer and third-party warranty claims. You will act as the vital link between our certified technicians and the manufacturer, ensuring that repair orders are coded accurately, claims are submitted promptly, and warranty reimbursements are fully maximized in compliance with strict factory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and process all Mercedes-Benz repair orders for correct documentation and warranty eligibility.
• Code and submit warranty claims through the proprietary manufacturer portal in a timely manner.
• Track outstanding claims, reconcile warranty receivables, and quickly appeal or resubmit any denied or rejected claims.
• Coordinate with the parts department to ensure failed components are properly tagged and retained for factory audits.
• Stay up to date on Mercedes-Benz recalls, technical service bulletins (TSBs), and warranty policy changes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as an automotive warranty clerk or administrator (Mercedes-Benz or luxury brand experience strongly preferred).
• High proficiency with dealership management systems (Reynolds & Reynolds preferred)
• Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
