Job summary

BMW of Brooklyn is seeking an energetic automotive sales professional to build lasting client relationships and drive sales. You will guide customers through vehicle selection with a consultative approach, document interactions meticulously, and stay fluent on BMW offerings and technology.

Demonstrations and proactive follow-up will be routine as you report to Sales Managers. Qualified candidates bring prior automotive sales experience, a valid license, strong communication, and a proactive,

Qualifications

• Prior automotive sales experience is required, luxury automotive experience is a plus.
• Available to work flexible hours and weekends with some late nights.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Comfortable with technology and learning new software (CRM, Data-mining tools, etc).
• Self-starter with an ambitious and outgoing spirit.
• Enthusiastic about learning the BMW product line.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients and team members.
• Strong attention to details while multi-tasking in your daily work.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships to build a strong and stable clientele for life.
• Exhibit consultative selling skills. Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
• Take meticulous notes on all client interactions, for both in-person and phone conversations.
• Continuously develop product and sales business acumen to become fluent on all things BMW.
• Perform high-quality, professional demonstrations of new/pre-owned vehicles.
• Follow-up with buyers to ensure successful referral business.
• Learn to overcome objections and thrive within sales situations.
• Report directly to the Sales Managers regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
• Bring your 'A game' along with a positive attitude to work with you every single day.
