Job summary

Holman’s Princeton BMW dealership seeks an Automotive Sales Consultant to build relationships, guide customers through luxury vehicle selection, and negotiate purchases and leases. You’ll demonstrate BMW features, collaborate across finance and management, and help customers from test drive to delivery.

The role emphasizes exceptional client experience, achieving sales goals, and maintaining a professional, customer-centric standard in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive sales experience preferred; luxury automotive sales experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to build relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• High School Diploma or GED; additional education or relevant sales training is a plus.
• One year of sales, customer service, or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with customers to understand their automotive needs, preferences, and budget.
• Guide customers through the vehicle selection process by presenting features, technology, performance capabilities, and financing options.
• Conduct engaging vehicle demonstrations and test drives that highlight the benefits of BMW products.
• Collaborate with customers, Sales Managers, and Finance & Insurance (F&I) personnel to structure and negotiate vehicle purchases and lease agreements.
• Assist customers throughout the purchase process and ensure accurate completion of all required documentation.
• Follow up with customers after delivery to ensure satisfaction, encourage referrals, and foster long-term relationships.
• Utilize CRM and dealership software to track customer interactions and sales activities.
• Meet or exceed individual sales goals while contributing to the success of the team.
• Deliver a professional, customer-centric experience that supports dealership and manufacturer standards.
