Job summary

SONS Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Sales Associate to guide customers through a comprehensive buying process, gain product knowledge, and demonstrate vehicle features in showrooms and test drives.

The role requires 2-5 years in automotive sales and customer service, with a luxury background preferred, and a 5-day work week with Sundays off. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two-to-four-year college degree preferred.
• 2-5 years automotive sales and customer service experience required.
• Luxury automotive sales background preferred.
• Knowledge of new vehicle technologies and mechanical operations.
• Phenomenal communication skills, organization and negotiation skills.
• Strong verbal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Sale Associates take the customers through a thorough buying process supported by established selling steps, policies and procedures.
• Develop and relay a high level of product knowledge around vehicle features.
• Demonstrate operation of vehicle in showroom and via test drive.
• Provide new vehicle to customer through established delivery process, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty and paperwork.
• Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction, loyalty and long-term clientele.
• Develop a prospecting system making calls, sending emails and videos to potential customers to set appointments to perspective clients.
• Report directly to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analysis.
