Job summary

UDR, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager at our luxury apartment community in Framingham, MA. You will lead the service team, manage maintenance requests, and uphold safety and quality standards to delight residents and protect assets.

Responsibilities include budgeting, vendor management, inspections, move-in readiness, and coordinating with district leadership. A strong background in building maintenance and supervision is required, along with EPA/CPO credentials where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience in building and mechanical maintenance (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, repairs).
• Minimum of three years supervising/ managing associates.
• Extensive experience with vendor management.
• Proficient in application software and modern technology.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage and complete resident service and maintenance requests.
• Meet the service budget and manage finances for maintenance projects.
• Provide leadership and training to the service team.
• Schedule and supervise contractors/vendors.
• Manage vacant apartment turn schedules and quality assurance.
• Perform pre- and post-move inspections and move-in/out duties.
• Ensure safety compliance and OSHA requirements.
• Maintain grounds, amenities, and common areas to reflect high quality.
