Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Massachusetts to lead a maintenance team across luxury properties. You will oversee all maintenance operations, ensuring safety, functionality, and attractive living spaces for residents.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of custodial/maintenance experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance repair knowledge.
• A valid driver’s license.
• HVAC certifications (CFC) or willingness to learn.
• On-call schedule rotation availability.
• Strong communication with team and residents for customer service.
• Ability to read and follow policies including Key Control, Apartment Home Turnover, and Maintenance Emergency policies.
• Ability to identify and handle cleaning supplies and chemicals; understand SDS and proper chemical use.
• Knowledge of PPE usage and safety practices.
• Basic understanding of emergency systems, shutoffs, locations and operation sequences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the maintenance team and provide daily guidance.
• Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities efficiently.
• Foster a culture of excellence, safety, and teamwork.
• Perform and oversee advanced maintenance tasks (HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, appliances).
• Conduct regular property inspections and implement preventative maintenance.
• Assist in budget preparation and cost control for maintenance operations.
• Respond to on-call emergencies, troubleshoot and ensure resident safety.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
