National Development is seeking a full-time Maintenance Manager for Peninsula Apartments in Boston, MA. You will lead maintenance operations, perform inspections, and manage unit renovations to keep the property in excellent condition.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in residential property management, strong leadership, and hands-on skills in maintenance, building systems, and vendor management. Excellent communication is essential to coordinate with residents, staff, and vendors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Residential Property Management.
• Skilled in maintenance, turnover and building systems.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior condition of the property in a professional manner.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of building systems.
• Coordinate response to resident maintenance requests promptly.
• Oversee unit renovations and vendor management.
• Develop and manage an on-call schedule for staff.
• Manage capital projects on site including bids and construction management.
• Assist with budgeting and cost control for maintenance and related areas.
• Prepare vendor contracts and manage invoices and maintenance dashboard.
