Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue is seeking an Alteration Staff member to support our tailoring team with exceptional customer service and expert alterations on luxury garments.

You will apply your 3+ years of fitting and tailoring experience to diverse fabrics, leather, knits, and beading, ensuring precise results while maintaining a spotless, safe work environment and contributing to the store's premium customer experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ fitting and tailoring experience in high-end merchandise.
• Ability to fit and perform alterations on a wide range of garments.
• Strong technical background in leather, knits, beading, fine tailoring, buttonholes is desired.
• Ability to use all standard sewing, pressing & spotting equipment.
• Knowledge of alterations industry include fabrication and styling of luxury merchandise.
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
