Job summary

Fairmont New Orleans is seeking a pool attendant to deliver warm, personalized service at our luxury pool area. You will assist guests with seating, towels, and pool amenities while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

The role requires strong guest service, excellent communication, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Previous luxury hospitality experience is preferred, and eligibility to work in the United States is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a luxury hotel, resort, pool, recreation, hospitality, or guest service environment preferred.
• Strong guest service orientation with a genuine desire to create memorable experiences for guests.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods and in varying weather conditions.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, professional, engaging, and personalized service to guests while upholding Fairmont New Orleans luxury standards.
• Welcome guests to the pool area and assist with seating, towels, and other pool amenities.
• Maintain knowledge of pool facilities, hours, policies, and services.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance throughout the pool experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of pool deck and lounge areas.
• Inspect pool areas for safety hazards and maintenance issues and report promptly.
