Job summary

Fairmont New Orleans is seeking a Pool Attendant to deliver warm, personalized service at the pool deck. You will assist guests with seating, towels, and amenities, while keeping the area clean and ready for VIP guests and events.

The role requires knowledge of pool operations, safety practices, and collaboration with Food & Beverage and other hotel departments. Candidates should be able to work outdoors in varying weather and maintain a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Previous luxury hotel, resort, pool, recreation, hospitality, or guest service experience preferred.
• Strong guest service orientation with a genuine desire to create memorable experiences for guests.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, professional, engaging service to guests.
• Welcome guests to the pool and assist with seating, towels, and amenities.
• Maintain knowledge of pool facilities, hours, and hotel amenities.
• Inspect pool areas for safety hazards and report issues promptly.
• Ensure towels and supplies are stocked and organized.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage for poolside dining and guest requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of pool deck and lounge areas.
• Follow safety procedures and report emergencies as needed.
