The Nobu Manalapan team at Eau Resort & Spa in Manalapan, FL invites applications for a Pastry Cook. This full-time position supports the Nobu culinary department in delivering the Forbes Five-Star dining experience with pastry, dessert, breads, and display pieces.

You will work flexible AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays, maintaining high sanitation standards, coordinating with guests and staff, and upholding Nobu recipes and yield guides.

Competenze

• 1 year’s experience as a Pastry Cook/Baker in a luxury hotel or restaurant.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests, co-workers, and management.
• Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
• Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
• Prioritize, organize, and follow through.
• Remain calm and resolve problems with good judgment.
• Work well under pressure to meet production schedules.
• Must handle physical tasks and move goods and equipment.
• Adhere to sanitation and hotel requirements.
• Complete Opening Duties: inspect tools and supplies, check schedule, prepare items per Nobu standards, maintain storage procedures.

• Plan, prep, set up and prepare pastries, desserts, breads, ice creams, sorbets, creams and displays to Nobu standards.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides.
• Support Nobu Manalapan culinary department to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
