Job summary

Highgate Hotels in New York is seeking a House Attendant to maintain cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas, and to deliver items to guestrooms.

You will shampoo carpets, buff floors, handle luggage requests, assist with Lost and Found, and support emergency procedures while ensuring guest satisfaction. This is a full-time, on-site role with a comprehensive benefits package and hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Buff marble floors daily according to hotel standards.
• Shampoo carpets in public areas according to hotel standards.
• Shampoo furniture as needed.
• Handle luggage requests in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Assist with Lost and Found according to hotel standards.
• Clean guestrooms as needed and support emergency procedures.
