Highgate Hotels is seeking a House Attendant in New York, NY. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness of assigned areas, assisting with guest needs, and delivering items to guestrooms. The position requires physical stamina and strong guest service orientation.

Responsibilities include floor buffing, carpet and furniture care, luggage assistance, and participation in emergency procedures. A high school diploma and the ability to lift and stand for long periods are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand during the entire shift.
• Effective communication with guests and staff at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Buff marble floors daily.
• Shampoo carpets in public areas.
• Shampoo furniture as needed.
• Assist guests with luggage in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Handle lost and found items per standards.
• Clean guestrooms as needed.
• Know and assist in all emergency procedures.
• Maintain hotel equipment in proper working order.
• Store hotel equipment properly.
• Complete special projects as assigned by Housekeeping Manager.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
