Job summary

Fairmont Orchid on Hawai‘i Island is seeking a hospitality professional to join Brown’s Beach House, our AAA Four Diamond fine dining restaurant. You will deliver warm, detailed service in a luxury setting, ensuring impeccable cleanliness and ambiance while presenting food to guests with care.

You will maintain menu knowledge, assist with garnishing and plating, and support other F&B outlets during peak times. A strong command of English and a team spirit are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language.
• Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage.
• Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Detailed & service oriented with an eye for detail to be self-motivated and energetic.
• Provide the necessary State and Federal Requirements to work in Food and Beverage (Tuberculosis Clearance)

Responsibilities

• Provide unique dining experiences to all of our guests through warm, personal & detailed service in a luxury, upscale and fast paced environment.
• Ensure a positive first impression of the restaurant for our guests through detailed cleanliness, set-up and ambiance control.
• Distribution and delivery of guest’s food orders out onto the service floor and serving them at their tables to the correct guest.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all F&B services, contents & preparation methods, outlets and hotel services/features.
• Assist servers in proper garnishing of all menu items ordered.
• Maintain cleanliness of all chinaware and monitor quality and consistency of all menu items served.
