Fairmont Orchid on Hawaiʻi Island invites you to join Brown’s Beach House as a Food Runner. This full-time, permanent role supports the service team, delivering guest orders and helping maintain a polished dining room in a luxury resort.

You will work in a fast-paced, upscale environment, providing warm, attentive service, and upholding HACCP standards while collaborating with servers and kitchen staff to create memorable experiences for guests.

Qualifications

• Ability to focus attention on guest needs and remain courteous.
• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Ability to speak other languages is an advantage.
• Team-oriented and detail-driven in a fast-paced setting.
• Must meet State and Federal requirements to work in Food & Beverage (Tuberculosis Clearance).

Responsibilities

• Provide unique dining experiences with warm, personal service in a luxury setting.
• Ensure a positive first impression through cleanliness and ambiance control.
• Deliver guest food orders to the service floor and tables for guests.
• Maintain knowledge of F&B services, outlets and hotel features.
• Assist servers in garnishing menu items and maintain orderly service lines.
• Ensure food & beverage are served according to service standards.
• Adhere to HACCP and hotel safety procedures.
