Job summary

Crest Auto Group in Plano, TX is seeking a friendly front desk Receptionist to greet guests, schedule estimates, and coordinate communications between clients, estimators, insurance companies and repair technicians.

The role requires a customer-service focus, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Expect routine clerical duties and cashiering responsibilities at a busy dealership setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or front-desk roles preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for diverse clients.
• Able to work Monday–Friday and every other Saturday.
• Professional appearance and positive, energetic attitude.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and basic software navigation.
• Familiarity with CDK or equivalent shop management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests, answering multi-line phone calls, and routing inquiries.
• Booking estimates, drop-off times, and post-repair inspections on the shop calendar.
• Acting as central communication link between clients, estimators, insurance companies, and repair technicians.
• Logging new repair orders, customer information, vehicle details, and warranties into the shop management software.
• Create Purchase Orders.
• Reconciling vendor invoices against active purchase orders and delivery receipts.
• Assisting with compiling final repair orders and closing out tickets.
• Accept customer payments and other cashiering functions.
• Receives incoming mail; coordinates express mail services (FedEx, UPS).
• Ensuring paper and digital files are compliant and routed to the correct department.
• May assist with photocopying, faxing, filing and collating.
