Job summary

Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. is seeking an Oncology Territory Manager to represent our oncology portfolio to physicians and healthcare professionals within the assigned sales territory.

You will communicate disease states and product information, delivering resources to drive awareness and appropriate treatment decisions. The role requires up to 60% travel, strong communication skills, and a background in pharmaceutical sales with oncology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 4+ years of sales/marketing experience in pharma/medical industry.
• Oncology product launch experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represents assigned products to health care professionals in the territory.
• Achieves/exceeds sales objectives through promotion of product features and benefits.
• Develop and execute comprehensive business plans.
• Understand healthcare industry trends, laws/regulations, market conditions and payer landscape.
• Demonstrate knowledge of current clinical pathways and influence on patient treatment.
• Analyze territory performance, program outcomes, and business trends to optimize potential.
• Maintain expert understanding of disease states, brands, and competitors.
• Complete all assigned training and comply with company guidelines.
• Communicate regularly with District Manager and peers to discuss issues and opportunities.
• Build relationships with customers and key opinion leaders; communicate product indications and benefits.
• Meet budgets, reporting, and communication requirements.
• Maintain target lists and use reports/databases to reach goals.
• Submit timely reports and escalate marketplace issues.
• Maintain equipment and territory records; use sales force automation to enhance calls.
