Job summary

Green Lane Primary in Manningham is seeking a midday supervisor to help ensure the safety and welfare of pupils during lunch and the midday break. You will work as part of a team and follow the Headteacher's instructions to support a calm, safe environment.

You will encourage respectful behavior, support pupils, and help implement the school's behaviour policies. The post is subject to safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS, and eligibility to work in the UK will be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior staff in securing pupil safety during the midday break.
• Supervise and ensure safety of children during lunch time.
• Encourage respectful behavior and adherence to school policies.

Main purpose of the job:

• As part of a team, assisting the senior staff in securing the safety, and welfare of pupils during the midday break. This will involve effective supervision of pupils in and about the premises and site(s) of the school in accordance with the general instructions of the Headteacher.
• To Supervise and ensure the safety of children throughout lunch time
• To encourage children to treat each other with respect and to follow the school's behaviour policies at all times.
