Job summary

Lift Montgomery Primary, part of the Lift Schools network, is seeking a friendly Midday Supervisor to join during lunchtimes. You will supervise pupils in dining and play areas, promoting safe, inclusive, and positive lunchtime experiences for every child.

The role focuses on encouraging good behaviour, supporting wellbeing, and working with colleagues to ensure smooth lunchtimes. Previous school-based supervision is advantageous but not essential.

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Midday Supervisor to join our team at Lift Montgomery Primary. You'll play an important role in supporting our pupils during lunchtime, helping to create a safe, inclusive and positive environment where every child feels supported.

About The Role

As a Midday Supervisor, you'll supervise pupils across our dining and playground areas, encourage positive behaviour and help ensure lunchtimes run safely and smoothly. You'll support pupils in developing positive social skills through play and interaction, while working closely with colleagues to support their wellbeing and address any concerns.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

You'll be positive, patient, and approachable, with experience supervising or caring for children and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils. You'll be able to remain calm in a busy environment, use your initiative and communicate effectively with both pupils and colleagues. Previous experience working within a school or as a Midday Supervisor would be an advantage, but isn't essential. Most importantly, you'll enjoy working with children and want to make their lunchtime experience a positive part of the school day.

This is a part-time position, working 7.5 hours per week. The contract is fixed-term until 21 July 2027, with a start date as soon as possible.
