Job summary

Lift Montgomery Primary, part of the Lift Schools network, is seeking a friendly Midday Supervisor to join during lunchtimes. You will supervise pupils in dining and play areas, promoting safe, inclusive, and positive lunchtime experiences for every child.

The role focuses on encouraging good behaviour, supporting wellbeing, and working with colleagues to ensure smooth lunchtimes. Previous school-based supervision is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or caring for children.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
• Calm, patient and proactive in a busy school environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils safely during lunchtime in dining and playground areas.
• Encourage positive behaviour, play and respectful interactions.
• Support pupils' wellbeing and respond appropriately to concerns or incidents.
• Help maintain a safe, clean and well-organised lunchtime environment.
• Support lunchtime activities and work collaboratively with the wider school team.
