Job summary

Edenham CofE Primary School is seeking a Midday Supervisor Assistant to help supervise pupils during the lunch break, ensuring a safe, healthy dining and play environment.

You will oversee activities, assist with meal service, encourage healthy choices, tidy dining areas, report incidents in line with school policy, and support positive interactions while safeguarding pupils at all times.

• Supervise activities and maintain health, safety, welfare, good conduct and safeguarding of pupils during the midday break.
• Report incidents in line with the school policy.
• Assist in supervising other activities during the break, including setting out tables and storing lunchtime equipment.
• Encourage pupils to select and eat healthy and balanced meals.
• Clean up spillages of food or liquid during meal service.
• Wipe down tables and clean dining areas between meals.
• Support and encourage positive play and interactions in line with the School Behaviour Policy.
• Ensure that any incidents are reported to the right person and escalated as required.

Midday Supervisor Assistant (Edenham CofE Primary School) - 6 hours 40 minutes

The successful candidate will work as part of a team monitoring pupil behaviour during the midday break and ensuring a safe and healthy environment.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Report incidents in line with the school policy.

Assist in the supervision of other activities during the break, to include setting out tables and storing lunchtime equipment.

Wipe down tables and clean dining areas between meals.
