Job summary

Blue Origin, located on the Space Coast, seeks an Assembly & Integration Technician to support engineering, production and manufacturing teams by building, integrating, testing, and wiring aerospace systems and hardware from drawings and work instructions.

You will perform operational tests, fault isolation, and assist in remedying malfunctions while maintaining high safety and quality standards. The role requires proficiency with precision tools and a commitment to safe, reliable spaceflight.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Hands-on assembly and integration of structural and mechanical systems.
• Basic electrical test using DMMs and understanding voltage/current.
• Avionics fabrication and assembly including soldering and wiring harnessing.
• Proficient with precision calibration tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate subcomponents and final assemblies of major structural, mechanical, and avionics systems per specifications.
• Configure production work areas with tooling to ensure efficient workflow.
• Operate precision tools to maintain safety and quality standards.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement for safety and productivity.
• Perform operational tests, troubleshooting, and fault isolation.
