Blue Origin LLC seeks an FPGA Design Engineer to lead digital design from algorithm concept to flight-ready RTL on FPGAs and SoCs. You will model waveforms in MATLAB/Simulink, trade fixed-point architectures, and bring up hardware with RF, antenna, DSP, and software engineers.

The role requires hands-on FPGA/RTL experience, Verilog/SystemVerilog, and experience with testing and lab equipment. Join a diverse team advancing lunar exploration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer/electrical/aerospace engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of FPGA design and/or DSP experience.
• Experience in simulating end-to-end systems to meet performance specs.

Responsibilities

• Design and simulation of end-to-end systems meeting performance specs (range, SNR).
• Design and validate DSP algorithms for radar/communication applications.
• Support MATLAB/Simulink code generation for signal processing and filtering.
• Optimize FPGA-based DSP architecture for better SNR and receiver sensitivity.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers on device selection and bring-up.
