Blue Origin is seeking a Sr. Manager in Core Components to lead RF hardware design, development, integration, and delivery for lunar missions, serving as the technical authority in areas such as RF/FPGA or embedded software.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• 8+ years relevant experience in RF communications hardware development lifecycle.
• Experience with RF communications design, verification, and system safety.
• Familiarity with DVB-S2, CCSDS, RS-422, Spacewire, I2C; space-rated hardware knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Define, own, and control the technical baseline for products and lead of highest caliber.
• Lead the full subsystem life cycle from concept through verification for lunar missions.
• Develop analyses and simulations and drive technical excellence in communications.
• Lead anomaly investigations, risk burn-down, and test plan development.
