Job summary

ispace US is seeking a Manager, Lander Manufacturing to lead the team responsible for manufacturing, assembly, and integration of lunar landers. You will ensure quality, reliability, and flight readiness while coordinating with Engineering, Quality, and Program Management.

You will supervise a multidisciplinary team, establish build sequences, and drive Manufacturing Readiness Reviews and MRB processes. The role emphasizes DFM, Lean improvements, and production documentation for traceability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in development, manufacturing, assembly, or integration of aerospace systems.
• Experience leading technical teams and coordinating multidisciplinary activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary manufacturing engineers and technicians, providing technical direction and career development.
• Oversee manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing to ensure flight readiness and compliance.
• Lead Manufacturing Readiness Reviews (MRR) and participate in PDR/CDR and milestones.
• Collaborate with Engineering to drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
• Develop manufacturing build sequences, work instructions, and production documentation for traceability.
• Oversee inventory management in the MRP system and tooling for production.
